About this stuff

Yo, my name's Jessica and I've been messing around in the art and comic business since I was a wee lass. Just a few years ago I decided to get serious about it, which meant I had a lot of work cut out for me before I became good. I practiced with a mnaga story for years before switching over to this autobiographical comic akin to Scott McCloud's book "Making Comics," but mine's just a little more personal. It's a good book, by the way. Aspiring comic writers should give it a read.

Twisted Existence had been my comic that I'd been using to practice and experiment with since I was 14 (I be 21 now). It's changed a lot over the years, from spunky shoujo to moody drama to whatever the hell I'm supposed to call it now. This comic was highly experimental. It would shift from black and white to color to cut out magazine style. The art wasn't all that consistent at times either as I messed around with various art styles. Still, I've left it up for the curious. I did pour literally hundreds of hours into it.
