This is version 3. It's not very long.

The beginning is pretty similar to the current version's beginning. I'm really trying on backgrounds now, but I still suck pretty bad.

I actually had these pages all toned and shaded, but I lost them when my old computer died, leaving me with just the paper drawings. You can see I'm trying really hard here, but still fall short due to lack of experience.

I'm still drawing Maria's hair wrong. I was quite attached to that shark fin hairstyle, it seems. Jake looks... kinda cute, but his neck's too long.

"Hello, Maria" No teenage boy talks like that! Maria still seems to have a crush on Jake. The eyes look pretty crappy.

Whoah, really wonky anatomy there. But look at that hallway! It looks like a hallway! There really should be people in that hallway, though.
